A Global Movement with Local Roots
Herbalists Without Borders (HWB) is an international non-profit network dedicated to health justice. We believe access to clean food, natural remedies, and wellness education is a basic human right, not a privilege.
The HWB Las Vegas Chapter operates locally as a community-led mutual aid initiative. We bring plant knowledge back to the people through free community education, seed-saving initiatives, pop-up free clinic sessions, and grassroots distributions to under-resourced communities across Southern Nevada.
Health Justice as a Human Right:

Trauma-Informed & Inclusive Self Advocating Education:
Creating safe, non-judgmental spaces that honor and respect all racial, cultural, and gender identities.
Mutual Aid, Not Charity:

What WE Do in Las Vegas...

Free Community Classes: Hosting quarterly education on herbalism.

Pop-Up Free Clinic Sessions: Providing free 1:1 educational consultations and custom herbal remedies to community members in need.

Spring 2027 - Vision: Establishing a non-commercial resource center featuring classroom spaces, consultation rooms, a remedy processing workspace, and a formulation pick-up point.

Volunteer
Official HWB LV Chapter Volunteers pay a small annual liability fee (or it is automatically covered if enrolled in the Aspiring Herbalists Club mentorship). This fee directly funds the required insurance coverage that allows our members to safely participate in on-site volunteer events, farm work, and public clinic support.
What to Expect as a Chapter Member
How You Can Participate
No Formal Clinical Experience Required: Whether you are an experienced grower, an herb enthusiast, or someone who simply wants to give back, there is a place for you.
Monthly Virtual Meetings: Connect with the chapter on the 1st Sunday of every month at 11:00 AM PST via Google Meet.

Volunteer Opportunities: Participate in local farm days within 3 hours of Las Vegas, NV, seed swaps, remedy batching, workshop support, and vendor table outreach.
Member Communication: Active members receive volunteer sign-ups via email and access to our private Chapter Member Portal.
